This can happen if the "Description" column is visible (the description wraps). Can you reset the columns by going to Application->Configuration and click "Reset table column states" in the Application section?

I realize that this is a problem but I have (what I think) is a very novel way of solving it in the next major version of Worklog Assistant and it involves being less intrusive!

Basically, you'll be able to graphically manage the interval using the applications you were using as a guideline. So when you accidentally go over, you can always go back and see exactly when you switched tasks.

So in the meantime, unfortunately, I'll have to add this thread to the "don't like it" pile :)

Hm, I think that's a Windows setting. I'll look into it but I don't think it is possible for me to change.

Thanks for your message.

Yes, Worklog Assistant already supports this. If you go to the configuration screen (Application->Configuration), you can see a "reminder interval" configuration value. This pops up a reminder in the system tray every N minutes. You can decrease this value if you want to be reminded more often.

Currently you can publish worklogs as they are added rather than at the end of the day.

You can see this in the configuration with the item marked "Automatically submit worklogs."

I will use this runtime instead and see how it goes.
