Feature Request from a co-worker:
I would be nice to be able to jump to an issue by key. You may have a particular issue that you're familiar with (ie - you know the key by heart) - but isn't readily accessible by filter. It would be nice if you could just type in the key to get to the issue.
What my co-worker REALLY wants is to have the filter AND a list of keys and have the issues list show the union of those issues.

Do you mean s/he wants to start tracking time against issues that are not available in filters?
If so, I think your idea of a set of "favourite" issues unioned (is that a word?) with the current filter's issues is indeed what your co-worker wants.-
Sarah Fernandezlopez February 10, 2009 20:22Either not available in filters - or annoying to locate that way. We have hundreds of issues, so just 'assigned to me' isn't going to work. We normally look at a filter for 'my issues, current release', but sometimes you have a side issue you occationally log time against. We could make more filters, but it's kindof roundabout to go to jira to make a tiny filter so we can find an issue in worklog assistant.EditDeleteRemove

I’m happy that it was not as hard as I thought it would be!
Hi Sarah and Andy,
Can you please try the latest beta: http://next.worklogassistant.com/down...

Did you try it yet? :-)

of course :) works great! although for some reason it's requests/refreshes a bunch of times in a row now... as if it's polling the jira server for issues, and then doing it again from scratch about 3 more times in a row.

Haven't had a chance yet - busy day. My son broke his right arm yesterday. That's never good - but he had already broken his LEFT arm 3 weeks before. Fun times.
I'll take a look tomorrow at work. You sure are responsive Sohail! -

Yikes! I hope he gets well soon. We are starting to count how many times my eldest daughter gets hurt during the day. The funny thing is, she gets hurt more walking around the house than playing outside!
Thanks for your kind comments, they are much appreciated!
Let me know if the feature is to your liking. -

By the way, Andy reported some issues today that I think have been addressed in the latest beta version (1109). I would suggest working with that version. -
