SSL Error on connect
Hello.
I'm trying to evaluate your software but I'm getting the following error:
Here is the screenshot:
OS: Kubuntu Linux 9.10
Server: Jira Standalone v4.0#466 on Linux JVM 1.6
Worklog Assistant: v 1.0.1131
PD. I also use Jira Desktop Client, so the SOAP API is enabled and working.
Thank you.

Inappropriate?Got access to a Windows XP Box. It works there. It's a Linux problem :-(
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hi Saul,
Thanks for your message. I'm sorry you're having this problem.
Usually you get this message when the port does not match the protocol. Can you send me a screenshot of the working Windows configuration? -
Inappropriate?Hi Sohail, thanks for your reply.
Here it is the windows screenshot. The connection is to the same server as the one with Linux:
I’m confident
-
Inappropriate?Hm, this is strange. What message do you get if you uncheck "Disable SSL authentication"?
I’m confused
-
Exactly the same message. -
Inappropriate?Ok, some questions:
1) Is this a 32 or 64-bit OS?
2) Could you run "openssl s_client -connect yourserver:8444 -state -debug" at the command line and email me the result at support@worklogassistant.com ?
3) If your server is open, would you mind sending me the address at support@worklogassistant.com ? Then I can try it on my end.
Thanks for your patience. -
1) 32 bit.
2) Shure
3) Sorry, it's behind the firewall. -
Inappropriate?Ok, I think I've narrowed it down. It appears to be related to SSL negotiation. I force SSL V3 so this is still a bit confusing! I wonder if you happen to know the server set up. Specifically are you connecting to a proxy (apache -> tomcat?) or tomcat directly? Not a problem if you don't know, just wondering.
Getting closer...
I’m confident
-
It's a direct connection to Tomcat.
